Lush product review: Honey I washed the kids soap

As Lush  soaps are one of my favorite products by this brand (and one of the few I am not sorry to be spending a lot of money on) by now I have tried the majority of the soaps available in their shop. Earlier I posted reviews about quite a few of the soaps I liked, but Honey I washed the kids is by far my favorite.

Why? Well at first I feel in love with the scent - caramel mixed with honey and a bit of a flower scent. I also love the way it looks. The honey-comb piece on the soap makes it look really original. Once I tried the soap I realized that despite the fact that it contains sodium lauryl sulfate, which almost always dries out my skin, it leaves my skin moisturized and feeling great. I like how gentle it is. I noticed that I can even use it as a face soap and for the last few days I have been using it every morning to wash my face. I am amazed how it doesn't dry out the skin on my face at all! And it leaves my skin feeling fresh and smelling pleasantly.

What is the soap made of? Some of the main ingredients are honey water, rapeseed oil, coconut oil, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulfate, beeswax, sodium hydroxide, sweet wild orange oil, aloe vera extract and others. The honey water and aloe vera extract are most likely what leave the skin so soft and moisturized.

Like other Lush soaps it does not last too long. That would be one of the downsides, especially considering the price. Besides that I could not be more pleased with a bar of soap!
