Almond & lavender DIY face cleansing powder

Are you looking for an easy DIY face cleansing powder, which you can put together in less than 5 minutes and yet be very happy with the results? Well, if so you are definitely in the right place reading this post.

I have recently made my very first cleansing powder (from all natural ingredients) and I was completely in love with it after the first use! I loved that is is so simple to make, it consists of only natural ingredients, smells great and leaves my skin super clean and soft feeling. What else could you ask for from a cleanser, right?

To make this Almond & lavender face cleansing powder you will need:
- 1 tbsp dried oats
- 1 tbsp dried linen seeds
- 1 tbsp dried lavender flowers
- 8 almonds

First, place the oats and linen seed (not the lavender and almonds) in a food processor and blend for 1-2 minutes until it is very finely ground. You want it to have a powder-like consistency, though some  left over pieces of the linen seeds or oats are ok.
It should look something like this:

Next, add the almonds and blend for a few more seconds. Make sure not to due this for too long. You want there to be small chunks of the almonds, so that they can slightly exfoliate your skin.

Place your powder in a small jar with a lid. Add the lavender flowers and mix well. Your cleanser is now ready to be use. All you need to do is place a small amount of it in the palm of your and add a few drops of water, mix and apply to your face.

Personally I love this stuff! Just make sure everything you work with (including your hands) is dry so that your products do not contain any moisture. That way you can store your powder cleanser for a long time and enjoy how soft and fresh your skin feels :-)
