Avocado oil

Avocado oil is a rich and heavy oil obtained by pressing the pulp that surrounds the avocado pit. It is an edible oil as well as used for lubrication and in cosmetics. It is one of the few edible oils derived from the pulp and not seeds. It is valued for its regenerative and moisturizing properties. Avocado oil is rich it vitamins A, B, D, and E,  it also contains lecithin, beta-carotene and fatty acids and is a well absorbed by skin and hair. It is known to have very good moisturizing properties and is recommended for people with dry, sun damaged or mature skin. The crude avocado oil is green in color as it still contains chlorophyll.
