There is no point of buying a body scrub when you can easily make your own at home. This is a super easy recipe that everyone can make with things you most likely already have at home. Choose a sugar or salt that has small granules, such as basic table salt or sugar. For people with very sensitive skin using dark brown sugar is recommended. Next choose an oil. I usually go for sweet almond oil for my body scrubs, but coconut oil or even just olive oil which almost everyone has at home works great.
To make the scrub mix 1 cup of the sugar or salt with half a cup of oil. Mix the ingredients well with a spoon. Now you can add vitamin E and an essential oil of your choice. Something I have learned to love in my body scrubs is pieces of dried raspberries (I buy them in a healthy food store). They give the scrub a light pink color and an extra fancy look.
