Simple DIY beeswax cream for very dry skin

One thing you need to know about this cream is that it is very greasy. So it's not the perfect cream to put on after a shower/bath and hope right into bed...but there are times where it is just perfect. Like when you have just finished doing the dishes and your hands feel so dry they itch, or for your heels, elbows, and other dry spots on your body. Sometimes a greasy beeswax cream is just what your skin is craving for.
Something else that you need to know is that this cream is very simple to make and as it has no water added it can be stored without going bad for many months, without the addition of any preservatives.

Ingredients:

1/2 glass beeswax
1 glass olive oil
2 tbsp unrefined shea butter
1/2 tsp vit E oil
essential oil of your choice (optional)

Mix all the ingredients together (except vit E oil and essential oil) and melt in a double boiler. Stir once in a while to make sure that all the ingredients have combined well. Leave the cream to cool to room temperature then add vit E and essential oil (I always add lemon, it's just my favorite for combining with the scent of beeswax). Mix everything well, place in a jar and store in a dark, cool place with the lid on.
