I have always made my own face masks. I have tried many face mask recipes and created just as many of my own. In an attempt to find new ideas/inspirations for face masks I have decided to test a few of the fresh face masks by Lush. Perhaps their prices aren't cheap (as of all Lush products), but they definitely look and sound tempting.
Two weeks ago I bought my first pot of BB Seaweed face mask. I have used it every other day since then and I am very happy with the results. One downside is that the mask really dries very fast (I can only keep it on my face for 5-10 minutes or afterwards it starts feeling very dry and unpleasant). Besides this I really like its subtle rose scent and how my face feels very refreshed afterwards. I have always loved seaweed based masks, as they really refresh my skin, yet I cannot stand the scent of seaweed. In this face mask you barely can smell the seaweed which is perfect for me.
After two weeks of use I have noticed that the mask is very soothing and refreshing for my skin. Like other masks based on kaolin clay it works great for removing any dirt of excess of oil. Additionally it can work as a gentle scrub. I can definitely say I am happy with this product made my Lush and would highly recommend it for those who are wondering which Lush face mask to buy.
What is the BB Seaweed face mask made of?
Some of its main ingredients are kaolin, honey, aloe vera gel, seaweed, lime tree flower and sweet violet leaf decoction, ground almonds, glycerin, rose absolute, and rose petals.
