During my stay in San Francisco I also discovered the first Lush store in the United States (that is the first one opened in the US, not the only one). I know a thing or two about this company, but so far I have not bought any of their products, mostly due to what I feel are rather high prices for their products. Ironically Lush is a company started in the UK, but I had to go all the way to SF to visit one of their stores.
It was early Saturday morning and the store was almost empty so I had a lot of time to walk around and explore their products. Everything in the store looked amazing, it was colorful and smelled beautifully. You feel sort of as if you were in a candy store...
One of the products that particularly caught my eye was the Fair Trade Honey Shampoo. I was told that over half of the bottle is Fair Trade honey, which moisturizes your hair and gives it a great shine. It is preservative free as honey works as a natural preservative. That's one product that definitely looked tempting.
Another thing was their solid shampoos, conditioners, lotions, etc. I've never seen a bar of shampoo or condition before! For example the Big conditioning bar is infused with coconut oil, seaweed and lemon, which sounds like a great combination for your hair.
Let us know if you have tried any of Lush's beauty products before and tell us what you think about them.
